Limapulo in Jalan Doraisamy brings out a feeling of immense nostalgia, making an atmosphere that is reminiscent of the Straits Nyonya many years prior. Each article, trimming and furniture is gone back to years passed by.
The thick fragrant of the laksa is sufficient to actuate the salivary glands. That brilliant orange soup is from the past of chillies, shallots, galangal, turmeric, candlenuts, lemongrass and some other mystery fixings, stewed till fragrant in coconut milk. At RM9.90 a bowl. 2. Kafe Old Market Square (Price Range: $)
Can be found near the renowned and beautiful Masjid Jamek Mosque, this old Kopitiam/cafe from 1906 is perfect and recently renowned. It has kept the original tiles and mosaic floors which is pretty cool. Along with the old historical photographs outlined on the walls, it overflows old legacy. The restaurant is in the corner shophouse of three houses in a row.
At here you can find all those typical Malaysian food in one places where you get to indulge yourself in those delicious Malaysian food such as Nasi lemak, Mee Hoon, Rojak and they also serve for its local breakfast consisting of soft boiled eggs, kaya toast (kaya is coconut jam), and Hainanese coffee.

3. Yut Kee (Price Range: $)
The old Chinese restaurant Yut Kee is a top pick among the two local people and tourists and the line for a table can be long, particularly around noon. This spot has been serving Hainanese dishes since 1928 and is run by a dad and his child. The structure is pretty cool with old photographs on the walls.
The flavourful sauce, the delicate chicken with its dry top that will be enjoyed with the sides of potatoes and blended vegetables, makes for a healthy supper that is very unforgettable.

It’s my first time to hear limapulo cafe, a special cafe in Kuala Lumpur! But the yut kee need to queue for long time everytime I pass by, I will only go there when I have free time.
